Where We Work

With the tremendous support of our donors and local communities, families, individuals FF is conducting emergencies and development programs and projects in all provinces of Pakistan. With the special focus on local communities and in some of the remote areas FF’s work directly or indirectly benefits 6 million people in the Pakistan

Area of Interventions

FF geographical coverage prevails in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtoon Khah, Sindh and Azad Jammu Kashmir; responding to emergencies and increasing access of underprivileged segments of society to social services. FF is dedicated to eradicate poverty through promotion of sustainable development. Our aim is to bring change in the standard living of a common man by catering all basic human needs. Friends Foundation is contributing a great deal in bringing a positive change in our social system and struggling to reduce poverty, hunger, illiteracy and disease. In 2003, FF had series of meetings with the deprived communities and identified the central underlying cause of poverty in Pakistan as imbalance of power. This imbalance is manifested through systematic marginalization along gender, religious, class, caste and other socio-cultural lines throughout society. FF addressed poverty issues in its programs at its roots, primarily through working with local communities:

  • bolstering civil society;
  • strengthening the links between poor communities and local government;
  • giving greater voice to Pakistan’s poor through advocacy; and
  • enhancing the quality of poverty reduction efforts.

Here on right side in the FF Web site we will place/past Pakistan Map and indicate our presence of provinces and cities and working in which sector. Discuss with me for more details
